Story

Tabbouleh is one of the most loved salads across the Levant. It is herb-forward, refreshing, and often served with hummus, pita, falafel, grilled foods, or other appetizer dishes.

Method

  1. 1

Cook the bulgur according to package directions, then let it cool completely.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, coriander, and cinnamon.

  3. 3

Add the parsley, cucumber, tomato, cooled bulgur, mint, and scallions.

  4. 4

Toss everything together until the herbs and vegetables are evenly coated.

  5. 5

Taste and adjust with more lemon juice, salt, or olive oil if needed.

  6. 6

Chill until ready to serve, or serve at room temperature as part of a appetizer spread.
