For Sellers

Sell with Our Arab Heritage

We're building a curated marketplace for Arab artisans, designers, and brands, from Gaza to the Gulf, from the Levant to North Africa and the diaspora. If you create products that carry our culture, we'd love to hear from you.

We're welcoming a small circle of founding sellers first, then opening new invitations in measured rounds.

Built for Arab artisans

A marketplace intentionally centered on Arab stories, craft traditions, and diaspora communities.

Curated, not overcrowded

Fewer, better products. You're not competing with random dropshipped items on a massive platform.

Fair, transparent fees

Our goal is simple: sustainable fees that support the platform while putting most of the value back into creators' hands.

Founding seller terms at a glance

For the founding seller phase, we want the practical terms to be easy to scan before you apply.

No listing fees; 10% platform fee

Approved sellers do not pay listing fees at this stage. OAH keeps a 10% platform fee on completed sales. Payment-processing fees and any other payout-related costs will be explained in the written founding seller terms before products go live.

Seller-fulfilled orders

Sellers ship their own orders unless we agree on a different arrangement in advance. Accurate timelines, packaging, and tracking matter.

Limited buyer data access

Sellers receive only the customer and order information needed for their own fulfillment and order support. Buyer data may not be reused for marketing or unrelated contact.

Payouts are sent after confirmed delivery

Seller payouts are issued after delivery is confirmed, customer and Shopify funds have cleared and are available to OAH, and there is no open refund, chargeback, damage, lost package, or dispute issue.

Founder-led and based in Cleveland

Our Arab Heritage is founder-led by Ahmed Abouhashem, based in Cleveland, Ohio. OAH is currently in the founding seller stage while we build the first seller group, test the marketplace workflow, and formalize seller operations before scaling.

How the application works

Submit one complete application with your store details, links, and the kinds of products you sell. We review each application personally and email you when your seller account is approved.

  1. Apply once through our seller application form.
  2. We review your application and your fit for the marketplace.
  3. If approved, we email you and unlock your seller dashboard.

After approval

Approved sellers receive the working details before any products go live, so setup happens with clarity rather than guesswork.

  1. We email your approval and next-step instructions.
  2. We share founding-phase payout setup details and the seller workflow currently in use.
  3. You prepare listings, shipping details, and any final store information inside your seller dashboard.
  4. Products go live only after setup is complete and both sides are comfortable with the launch details.

Seller data responsibility

Sellers receive only the order and customer information needed to fulfill their own orders.

Buyer information may only be used for shipping and order support.

Sellers may not use buyer information for marketing, resale, sharing, unrelated contact, or advertising outside OAH fulfillment and support.

Seller access can be restricted or removed if buyer or order data is misused.

Seller Protection & Payout Terms

We want seller terms to be clear from the start. These guidelines explain how platform fees, payouts, fulfillment, and marketplace protections work on OAH.

Platform fee

OAH keeps a 10% platform fee on completed sales. Payment-processing fees and any other payout-related costs will be explained in the written founding seller terms before products go live. There are no listing fees for approved sellers at this stage.

When payouts are sent

Seller payouts are issued only after an order is confirmed delivered, customer and Shopify funds have cleared and are available to OAH, and there is no open refund, chargeback, damage, lost package, or dispute issue. Payout timing can vary depending on delivery confirmation, payment settlement, and any support review that may be needed.

During the founding seller phase, payouts are typically processed within 3–5 business days after delivery is confirmed, funds are available to OAH, and there is no open refund, chargeback, damage, lost package, or dispute issue.

During the founding seller phase, payouts may be sent by PayPal, Zelle, bank transfer, or another agreed method. The payout method will be confirmed with each approved seller before listings go live.

Shipping and tracking responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for shipping orders on time, using accurate tracking when required, packaging items safely, and making sure listings accurately describe what the customer will receive.

Refunds, chargebacks, and order issues

If an order has a refund request, chargeback, damage claim, lost package issue, or another active dispute, OAH may hold or delay payout until the issue is reviewed and resolved.

Marketplace standards and listing removal

OAH may pause, reject, or remove listings that do not meet marketplace standards, create trust or safety concerns, or conflict with platform policies.

Written founding seller terms

Approved sellers will receive written founding seller terms before any products go live. These terms will explain payout timing, the 10% platform fee, payment-processing treatment, shipping responsibilities, refunds, chargebacks, damaged or lost packages, disputes, customer data use, and buyer/seller protections.

Seller FAQ

A few practical answers for artisans, makers, and brands who want to understand whether OAH is the right fit before applying.

Can I sell from outside the United States?

Yes. We welcome Arab artisans, artists, and brands from the Arab world and the diaspora. During the founding seller phase, we review each seller carefully to make sure shipping, product quality, and communication can work smoothly.

What products are a good fit?

We are looking for products rooted in Arab craft, art, design, food culture, home goods, textiles, jewelry, calligraphy, ceramics, books, prints, and meaningful cultural gifts. We are not looking for random dropshipped products or generic items with no cultural connection.

How does shipping work?

Sellers are responsible for accurately preparing and shipping their own orders. If you are outside the United States, please explain your shipping options, estimated delivery times, and countries you can ship to in your seller application.

How do payouts work?

During the founding seller phase, payout methods may vary by seller, but the process will be agreed in writing before listings go live. In general, payouts are sent after delivery is confirmed, funds are available to OAH, and there is no open refund, chargeback, damage, lost package, or dispute issue. Payouts are typically processed within 3–5 business days once those conditions are met.

How do I contact OAH before applying?

If you are unsure whether your products are a good fit, contact us first. We are happy to review your work and answer questions before you apply.
